Today I am sharing with you one of our favorite dinners! Chicken & Rice Stroganoff!
It is so easy AND healthy! It requires very few ingredients and goes right in the crockpot! Keep reading for the recipe!
(1) Chicken (breasts or tenderloins work) (frozen or not works)
(2) 16 oz FAT FREE sour cream
(3) 1 can FAT FREE cream of mushroom soup
(4) 1 packet dry onion soup mix
(5) Rice (white or brown – brown is healthier option)
Place chicken in the crockpot. Mix together the sour cream, soup & dry soup mix and put on top of chicken. Cover crockpot and turn on low and cook for 7 hours (if FROZEN chicken). If chicken is not frozen, you can adjust the temp/cook time based on your crockpot. Serve on top of rice and enjoy!
**This time I used tenderloins that were not frozen and it was ready in 3 hours on low.
